Christina Gougouli

Christina Gougouli is a psychologist (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece), Dance Movement Psychotherapist (MA University of Derby, UK). She has board experience of working with children and adults in settings in Greece and in the UK, such as charities for people with eating difficulties; charities supporting adolescents & adults with mental health difficulties; outpatient unit in children’s hospital; organizations supporting the development of children in the autistic spectrum; refugee camp in Central Greece. Moreover, she was a visiting lecturer at the University of Derby delivering workshops in research modules. Currently, she works as an associate Dance Movement Psychotherapist at Amna (formerly Refugee Trauma Initiative), and she is a Psychologist/Dance Movement Psychotherapist in private practice in Larissa, Greece. She is a Kestenberg Movement Analyst Trainee & a registered member of the Association for Dance Movement Psychotherapy, UK. Her research interest includes eating difficulties; refugee work, and trauma and the body.
