Hilda Wengrower

Hilda was born in Argentina. She has been working more than 40 years with children, adolescents and adults in groups and individually and teaches and supervises DMT for many years in Israel and internationally. She is Senior lecturer at the School for Society and Arts at Ono Academic College, Israel.
Hilda is the co-editor with Sharon Chaiklin of the books The Art and Science of Dance Movement Therapy translated into Korean, Russian, Hebrew, German. Spanish.
The newest book is Dance and Creativity within Dance Movement Therapy, Routledge, 2021, also co-edited with Sharon Chaiklin. Hilda wrote articles on different subjects related to DMT which were published in several languages.
She is the coordinator of the DMT section at Yahat, the Assoc. of Arts Therapies in Israel, is the chair of the research committee at ICAET (Intnl assoc of arts education and therapies) and was the first Israeli representant to the EADMT (European Association of DMT).
